In the 1990s I was, for some years, the Archives officer and, for a while, the President of the now defunct Noah’s Ark Society for Physical Mediumship.
Prior to that, over a period of several years, I had been most fortunate to meet, on a number of occasions, elderly Spiritualists who some years earlier had sat with legendary Physical Mediums who by then we could only read about. When relating to me their experiences it was almost as if they were telling of séances which they had attended the previous night as against 10/20/30/40 and in one case, 50 years earlier. Such had been the impression made upon them by what they had witnessed that those séances had been indelibly stamped into their memories.
It struck me that I was as close to living history as it was possible to be. I determined to urge such people to come forward – to make contact with me and arrange to leave on record audio recordings of those wonderful inspiring sittings that, in past years, they had been privileged to attend. These are just a few of those recordings.
Audio Recordings from the Stewart Alexander Archives
Wonderful Memories of Physical Phenomena as told by Senior Spiritualists.
On these 2 CDs will be found a series of first-hand fascinating physical séance room accounts by senior Spiritualists, who in years gone by, were privileged to sit with mediums who today we can only read about.
All the speakers witnessed and personally experienced the manifestations they describe and took the time and trouble to record them in audio form for the interest, education and benefit of contemporary and future Spiritualists and all other interested parties.
That they did so, prior to their own transition, has left us with a marvellous legacy and we owe an incalculable debt to them all.
Often exceeding the ‘boggle factor’, their amazing séance room recollections bring back to life the wonders of the past, and thereby keep alive that which must never be forgotten

Physical Séance Room Recollections is now also available as a PRIVATE PODCAST – PURCHASE THE PODCAST AUDIO COLLECTION HERE
For many years, I have made available a fascinating collection of recordings relating to Physical Mediumship from the past.
These recordings have previously only been available to hear on CD, but I have now also made this wonderful collection available in a digital format as a private podcast.
This means that those voices, experiences and accounts can continue to be heard and enjoyed for many years to come.
Below I have explained exactly what a private podcast is, how to purchase the collection and how to listen to the recordings:-
WHAT IS A PRIVATE PODCAST?
A private podcast is simply a collection of audio recordings that you can listen to using a podcast app on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Unlike an ordinary public podcast, these recordings are only available to people who have purchased the collection.
This is a one-off purchase. There is no monthly or ongoing subscription.
HOW DO I PURCHASE AND LISTEN TO THE RECORDINGS?
The process works as follows: Click the PURCHASE THE PODCAST AUDIO COLLECTION HERE button and complete your payment.
1. After purchasing, you will automatically receive an email containing your own personal access link, together with instructions explaining what to do next.
2. Follow the instructions in the email to add the collection to a suitable podcast app on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
3. Once you have done this, the recordings will appear in your podcast app and you can listen to them at your leisure.
You do not need to wait for anything to arrive through the post and you do not need to contact me to receive the recordings.
Your access information and instructions will be sent to you automatically by email after your purchase.
I HAVE NEVER USED A PODCAST BEFORE. CAN I STILL PURCHASE THE COLLECTION?
Yes, but please read the following before purchasing.
If you already listen to podcasts, you should find the process very straightforward.
If you have never listened to a podcast before, you can still purchase the collection.
However, you will need a smartphone, tablet or computer and a suitable podcast app, and you will need to be comfortable following the instructions that will be sent to you by email.
If you are using a smartphone or tablet and do not already have a suitable podcast app, podcast apps can be downloaded in much the same way as any other app, using the app store on your device. The instructions you receive after purchasing will help explain your options.
I want to make this clear before you purchase so that you know exactly what to expect.
WHY I AM MAKING THESE RECORDINGS AVAILABLE
The simple reason is that they mean such a great deal to me.
Many years ago, I appealed to Spiritualists who had experienced wonderful Physical Mediumship to record for me their memories of what they had witnessed.
My promise to them was that their recollections would not be lost with the passage of time and that they would always be available for future generations of interested people to hear.
Today, none of those contributors remain on this side of life. However, because of the promise I made to them, their recollections have long been available to hear on CD and are now also being preserved and made available through this private podcast.
I very much hope you enjoy listening to these voices from the past.
Best wishes
Stewart Alexander
